Soft, affectionate, curious and spicy.
This girl has risen to the challenge of being a wonderful family dog in her foster home.
Loves kids, cats and every dog she comes across that gives her a chance.
She just needs love and routine, she’s up for hours hiking and will be your bed/couch mate when you need the downtime.
She’s a fantastic traveler to the pet store or across the province. She’s crate trained and loves to curl up in it when she wants space or quiet from her foster sisters (2 human ones and 2 canine ones). She’s not waking you on the weekend because she’d much rather be where ever you want to be.
She wears her gentle leader/halti walking and this is a game changer for her leash frustration, meaning she wants to go say hi to everyone and everything, so this training is still ongoing. Charlie has been working with a great P4C trainer who will continue to set you and Charlie up for success as long as you need it.
Her foster mom wishes her to have a work or stay at home pawrent because she deserves to be have that ride or die/do-it-all attention. She’s had that stability since April.
She is very well socialized. Family and friends cannot understand why she’s still in our care.

Junie B
Junie absolutely adores everyone she meets!
She wants to say hello to everyone everywhere. She is incredibly friendly, shes great with other dogs and good with cats.
She is wicked smart and picks up on things incredibly fast. She is very athletic and would do well with a family or person who enjoys going on outdoor adventures that she can tag along for. She would be an awesome hiking dog and i think she'd also be great with agility training.
She's super gentle and has been good with the kids she has met but she can get excited and jump so id probably have her with kids over 8. She loves toys, especially her bear toy. She enjoys playing fetch but also absolutely loves to cuddle up on the couch with us to watch a movie.
Shes a big live bug and loves to give hugs and kisses and get in alllll the cuddles. She just lives to love and would make an incredible addition to any family!

Torvi has been waiting a very long time to find her forever family and is looking for a special someone to call her own!
At almost 2 years old, Torvi loves her food, toys and of coarse her flirt pole!
Swimming is her absolute favorite in the summer and she also doesn’t mind a good cold weather playtime either!
Torvi is dog and barrier reactive, so she will need a human who is experienced in reactivity and will show her all the kindness and understanding she needs.

Kola & Bailey
This bonded pair lost so much when their owner passed away, and we promised to help find them the very best forever home possible!
Kola and Bailey are a bonded pair who compliment each other’s personalities and love to play and wrestle with each other. Bailey has also played tug with the resident 11yr old German Shepherd, while Kola has so far only wanted to play with Bailey but they all get along well.
As lab mixes, they live for food and eat with gusto… because of this they are treat motivated which helps them learn new tricks or behaviors quickly. While they can be a bit rambunctious playing at times, they also love to cuddle and nap near their caregivers.
They are medium energy, and Kola walks lovely on leash, but has a bit of a prey drive when she sees squirrels so we are working on that with her. Bailey just wants to smell all the smells so does pull a bit on leash to get to the next pee-mail. Bailey loves the water and may be a great candidate for dock diving, he also enjoys his bath, and would happily get in the shower with you if you let him!
They both do well meeting other dogs and people, and are up for new adventures. Kola does have auto-immune and heart condition which she easily takes medication for and she is thriving.

Jessie & Jazzy
Jessie and Jazzy
Two sweethearts who got off to a bad start in life by no fault of their own are looking for a very special home together. Jessie is the outgoing one of the two, but she is still a very shy girl at first. She warms up over time and, once comfortable will let her fun loving, goofy, and cuddly side make you smile all day long. She is also little Jazzy’s emotional support dog, helping Jazzy learn all about the world they missed out on a babies.
Jazzy is taking a much longer time to warm up than her sister. She is uncomfortable with eye contact and touch, but is very curious and is trying her best to over come her fears. Jessie is helping her slowly learn that people don’t need to be scary anymore.
Their ideal home will be calm and quiet with people who are willing to give them the time and space they need to get comfortable. They are still working on house training and it will be sometime before they master it, although they are really good with pee pads and working on litter training too.
Jessie has been on a few outings and is learning the leash, but Jazzy still finds it all a bit too much. Jazzy loves to explore the deck and dog run with her sister and their favourite thing is sunning themselves wherever a sunbeam can be found. It’s taken a couple weeks, but they have started to play with each other every now and then. Jessie gets zoomies, but Jazzy is still a little confused and trying to figure out what to do.
They could be successful in a home with another smaller dog who is calm and willing to give them time and space. They often think they’re part cat and can jump a 3 ft wall and fit in very small spaces. Jazzy can be a bit of an escape artist but never strays far from her safe space and sister. I often find them climbing over furniture and squeezing through baby gates to explore before new parts of the house before the kids wake up.
I know their special family is out there and will find so much joy watching these two girls find their brave and learn to live in a world that almost forgot about them.

Half Pint
I am Half-Pint, a name I was given as I came in very very skinny, weighing 2kg and was half the size of my siblings. I am now very healthy and growing like a bad weed. I am still a lot smaller than my siblings, but I will always be known as Half Pint the runt. I can be a bit shy but usually I am the first one out to investigate as I am curious and getting more comfortable snuggling with people.
I have met many people, but I was a bit hesitant of the kids for a short time but then figured out it was so much fun to played with them. I am still working on potty training but I as so so good at ‘sit’, ‘down’ and my favorite ‘shake a paw’. When I shake a paw, I give both paws over and over and over. I told you it is my favorite!
I am starting to venture out of the safety of my yard. I am not sure of this thing called a leash, but I did relax enough to sniff and wander around. Those cars are sure noisy but then didn’t really bother me so hopefully when I gain more confidence to go for a big walk, I will be even braver!
I love to play with my siblings and foster siblings so I think a family with kids or a dog and a family that enjoys the outdoors would be a good fit. I know if you come meet me, I will steal your heart (and any treats in your pocket). I am a quiet laid back girl so come meet me to see if you are the perfect family for me. Merlot
No one meets Merlot without falling instantly in love with this little fellow. He is such a happy little guy that his tail is always wagging, and he skips when he walks. Just like his name’s sake, Merlot is smooth and well-balanced.
Shy at first, once he gets to know you, Merlot will snuggle and play and shake a paw all day long. He is not a fan of loud noises or being startled. He is still a little skittish and needs to feel safe before approaching. Once he feels safe, he will play and wrestle freely, relaxing afterwards by cuddling in your arms.
Merlot learns quickly and knows to sit patiently while waiting for his meal to be put in the bowl. He is learning to do his business outside, and when inside, uses the pee pads successfully (most of the time). He wants very much to please so training him is a breeze.
An ideal home for Merlot would be one filled with love, patience, and affection. Another pet or a house with children would be something he would enjoy as he truly is a sociable pup. The perfect puppy, Merlot will fill the heart of anyone who adopts him.

They are Bernese Mountain Dog mixed. It is still early days so we do not have a lot on personalities yet. So far they seem to be pretty laid back. They will be available for adoption late November early December.
