Torvi
Good with dogs: Yes
Good with cats: Yes
Good with children: Yes
Special needs/considerations: No

Torvi is a feisty little Viking with a sweet side. She is a confident, energetic little pup that doesn't get phased by much. She loves brain games and using her nose. Torvi would much rather play than snuggle unless she is tired. She prefers cooler climates and is food motivated. She has been exposed to kids, cats, and other dogs. The perfect family for her would be active as Torvi likes to keep busy, another dog to play with would be nice but this isn't a necessity.

Momma Rosie
Energy Level: Medium
Good with dogs: Yes
Good with cats: Unknown
Good with children: Unknown

Now that Momma Rosie is done raising her puppies, she is ready to find her furever home. She has been the perfect house guest. She often can be found hanging out in her crate or her favorite place, on top of the couch. Rosie is doing well learning her manners and skills. Rosie has mastered ‘sit’ (sometimes on her own time LOL), she is working on ‘down’ and several other skills.
Rosie is so much a puppy herself that she loves to play, toss toys and her biggest mission is to rip them apart (pure joy for her). Rosie loves to play with other dogs and introductions to dogs take a few minutes, then Rosie is ready to play.
Rosie gives the odd bark at the front window or in the yard, put overall is a quiet girl. And if she is barking, when called or prompted with a yummy treat, Rosie comes running and forgets what she was barking at. So far, Rosie has been friendly towards most people she has met. She can be a bit hesitant at first, but with some treats and calm intro’s, Rosie warms up quickly.
Rosie has not been tested with cats however she does tend to chase the birds flying through the yard, so I suspect she has a bit of a prey drive. We have not been able to test Rosie on walks yet, as not fully vaccinated but she did hang on her leash & harness in the front yard and watched dogs and people go by and didn’t reaction. We are working on leash walking and with a fist full of treats, Rosie walks around the yard with her leash on.
Rosie is a jumper and is very sleek when she jumps so I suspect she will be great at agility. And I know she will love hiking and camping. Are you ready to add a fun, active dog into your family? Rosie is 52lbs of pure joy and will be a gem for the family that adopts her!

Cosmo
I am so much like my momma, very friendly and a bundle of fun! I have met tons of people and I enjoy a snuggle or pet from everyone. I also have a foster sister, who I love to play with. And I got to meet other dogs and a cat so I was so proud of myself because they didn’t scare me.
My foster mom calls me the troublemaker as me and my brother Orbit are always up to no good together. Not sure why stealing toilet paper is not allowed because it is so much fun to grab it and run!
I am very inquisitive and like to explore my surroundings so if you like going on adventures, I would love to join you.

Marcia
I'm the only girl of the litter, can you imagine growing up with a bunch of brothers!? I love to explore and I find everything very interesting. So far, I haven’t been afraid of anything. When I knock the baby gate down (I figured out that is how I get into the other room), I just walk across it. Nothing gets in my way! I have met a lot of people. They make great cushions and I love to cuddle on their laps. I have met a few other dogs and a cat too! I sniffed the cat and he was so boring I went back to my nap. I love to play tug games and chase with my siblings and foster sister and running in the backyard is my favorite thing. I still don’t know what my grown-up size or personality will be, but my mom is pretty sure I will be an easy-going girl who will love to be part of a family that enjoys the outdoors. I would love to try that thing called paddle boarding as I might be the perfect size. Do you think you are the family for me?

Blossom
Adoption Pending
Blossom has lots of energy and adorable mischief. She's teething right now which makes her a bit nippy, but she always sits politely to gently accept a treat.

Quick and impressionable, she learns well and shows a spark of brilliance toward her character as an adult dog. While playing she will whine or bark if frustrated, and she also has a touch of stubbornness. These behaviours are offset by a quick willingness to please demonstrated by being quiet when asked and eagerly coming when called.

Blossom enjoys both cats and dogs and loves people - especially children. She sits quietly to watch the young ones coming and going at the preschool nearby and always has a wag in her tail to greet any and all who will say "Hi" to her.

Blossom will grow into your perfect forever companion.

Petrie
Hi, my name is Petri! I am never far from my foster humans, and prefer to be near them as much as I can! I love people and snuggle right in when I want to go to sleep. I really like following around the kids in my home, they are so fun to play with. I am working on sleeping in my crate, and my foster mom says I am getting more comfortable with it. I also try really hard to do all my potty business outside. I like to run after my toys and play tug of war with them too! I am learning lots of new tricks like Sit, High Five, Touch, and Lay Down. I am such a loyal and sweet pup, I will make a great companion. I hope to meet my forever family soon!

Vitani
Hello! My name is Vitani but my foster mommy sometimes calls me "Brat" (apparently it's a term of endearment... whatever that is!) She says it's just because I like paper. Ok, I LOVE paper. I can’t yet read, but I am fascinated nonetheless. I also LOVE ice cream (just as a rare treat), playing with my foster brothers, and long walks on the beach (ok, long walks anywhere!). I am 5 months old and 55 pounds. 555 is good luck! I am a very active girl but don’t let that fool you; I can be chill and love to hang out at your feet. Speaking of hanging out, I just want to be near my hooman. I love attention! Sometimes I get into things, but that is my hooman’s fault. I bark at other dogs I see when I am home or in the vehicle, but not excessively, and I listen to my foster mom (even though she’s not my real mom) when she says it is time to zip it! I’m not sure what I am supposed to zip as I don’t have opposable thumbs, but I think about it so much that I stop barking. I am very smart (my mother had me tested) and I have learned many new things in a very short period of time. Did I mention I love my foster kitty siblings? I just want to play with them, but I am learning boundaries. Besides... they have pointy ends! Foster mommy would love to keep me and cannot believe that no one has adopted me. Please help me save my foster mommy from herself (she has 2 dogs and 3 cats) and give me the loving furever home I truly deserve!

Tantor
Hi, my name is Tantor! I am named after the Elephant from the Disney movie Tarzan. The name really works for me because I have giant feet, like an elephant. I am a sweet, clumsy boy that loves attention, scratches, and a healthy dose of playtime. I am currently staying with a foster family that has two cats. I am very interested in cats because I really want to play with them, although sometimes they do not want to play with me. Altogether, I would say I am good with cats, as long as the cat lets me know when it doesn’t want to play. I also like to meet other dogs, and my foster family makes sure that I get to meet new friends (dogs and humans alike).
Some of my favorite activities include chewing on my bully stick, playing tug of war with my foster parents, playing with my squeaky toys, and exploring the backyard. I also like to go on walks, and my foster family says I am a great walker. One of my favorite things to do is play with egg cartons. I really like to rip them up. Someone just needs to watch that I don’t eat the cardboard.
I am working on my crate training skills, and currently, sleep in a separate room in my crate. I can sleep there all night long, but sometimes I need to be let out for a bathroom break. Don’t worry though, I will let you know. I am also learning to be on my own while my foster family is at work. Currently, I am left alone one day per week. When my foster family needs to go out and run errands, I get a little sad, and bark and whine when they leave, but I quickly calm down and happily play with my toys until they return. I would say I can spend about 5 hours by myself comfortably. I do have some separation anxiety when people leave me, but I am actively working on getting over it.
I am doing very well at house training, and currently signal my foster family to go outside, by sitting by the backdoor and waiting for them to let me out. I have been accident-free for a while now. I am great at sitting when I am told, but I am also working on laying down, going to my bed, and the crate on cue. I love food, so my foster family uses food to help me learn.
My foster family thinks that I would be a good fit for an active family that likes being outdoors and has access to a backyard and already has another dog, however, I would be okay by myself too. I am going to grow up to be a big strong boy, with lots of energy, and I promise that I will make a great addition to the family.

Luna
Energy Level: High
Good with dogs: Yes
Good with cats: Only 1 introduction
Good with children: Yes
Hi, my name is Luna!
I was born sometime in January, so I am currently still a puppy. I have short hair, so I do not shed much! (bonus). They expect I am a Belgian Malinois cross, so I will be big, very intelligent, and high energy. I love lots of playtime, with either my foster sibling or kids. I also LOVE to nap for a few hours in between. I am working on learning redirecting and appropriate things to chew on! I am pretty much potty trained if there is consistency throughout my day.
I am working on crate training for a few hours at a time, but I have also had free reign of the house with no issues - I just chill with the other dog at the front window to watch the world go by. I sleep through the night uncrated, in her dog bed in the upstairs hall.
I have been introduced to the neighbour cat and we got along ok.
I would do best in a home that either has another younger dog for me to play with, or in a work-from-home household. Currently, I have both and am very happy!
I would do great at the dog park, and on longer hikes, and am a good leash walker, I also love to spend time in the backyard! My foster mom says I am easygoing!
I like to “talk” a lot. But I don’t really bark much but I will tell you when I am hungry, need to go out, or want to play. Or sometimes I am just telling you a story :) Do you think we would be a perfect match? Hit apply and let’s find out!
